Sprint has a Plugin that allows you to set a static list of Icons. Eko doesn't have access to the Plugin, therefore she doesn't use it.

If you want a custom screen with Static Icons its likely you'll either have to learn XML coding or purchase facade.

The other option would be to load your homescreen XML that does have the Static Icon Plugin to this thread as an attachment, and the Designers here can attempt to work with it.

Yeah Sprint's version of the Q9C allows you to do the same as well. but I dl'd a custom HS off ecko's site (without requiring a plugin) and it only allows me to have MRU even tho i set it as static. Just wondering if theres code in the xml that will allow me to change that.

Oh alright. I'm actually getting a new phone sent to me cuz the one I had all of sudden wouldn't boot up past the motorola start screen, it'd just freeze there. Kinda lame, had it less than a week...anyone else have that problem or heard about it? Once I get my phone back I'll post up the xml. Thanks guys.

a few others have had the same issues with the Q9, no rhyme or reason to it

If I remember correctly I used to have replace the MRU code already in a homescreen with this to make the built in static list work.
