I eexecuted the exe file and got a message, I'll post it later and I also installed the cab to the application data/home folder. I'm out and about right now so I'll post results tomorrow

and i remember the very first time i installed Orange i went through the steps you describe.. shortly after that i found the self-installer.

Good news, I placed all the contents of the cab in the correct folder and viola it works.

Oh and RB I'm still out and about but managed to find a little bit of time this morning to get things done lol
