Just so I am on the correct page here, the orange plug is something I need to install on the phone i.e Facade.

If I find this file where in the directory do I install the file

Thanks
Rick

It's a cab file that will install itself to storage/application data/home.

I think you might need the WM5 Reg...thingy too. It registers the orange thingy! Post back if you don't have all the lil thingy's...

Also, here's a little more talk..pretty helpful around the "Child" code.

OK got the stuff I need, just not sure how to register the .dll, I looked at the post you linked and it states 2 different methods.

I have Resco 2007 and none of what is said can I find in the 2007 version

I'm pretty sure you put the WM5 thing in the same folder as the orange dll and then execute it. You should see something that says orange was registered. Then you wont know anythings different til you use a HS with the orange code! Let me know if thats not it and I'll pull out more cobwebs!

Get it yet? I did this:
You need another File Manger tool like Resco Explorer 2003.

So start Recso Explorer 2003 and browse to the application\home folder where 4orangeh.dll and wm5_regsvrce.exe is.

Then highlight WM5_REGSVRCE.EXE and choose:
Menu, File, Run.

In the Arguments text box type in 4orangeh.dll

This will then register the Orange plugin.

I got it from this thread over at Qusers. It took me a very long weekend to piece together all the orange stuff! Many, many threads I read! It is nice having it though...and it was something fun to do at the time. I have more threads saved if you need more.
