think i figured it...didnt' add the buddy "3001".....Still having trouble going to Octro and seeing the stream...is tells me that I'm not streaming..when i am.

I'd love to hear when and if you actually video-conference with someone else, and how it looks/works.

I know, that's what I'm looking forward to hearing about. I imagine you talk into the camera, then flip the phone around to see the person's response? Weird. The mic is on the front, too, so don't know if that will impact sound quality. Obviously, this is designed for phones with front cameras, whichever those might be.

And how do those work? if your camera is on the same side as the screen, how do you see what you're taking a picture of? My brain hurts.

could work if you dont have a camera on your pc and use the phone for that and view it on the pc.

aahh, didn't think of that. I was thinking more of a phone-to-phone application. good point.

yea, phone to phone would be a tough one unless you have a phone that the camera can be turned around.

Good call out dafox! That actually makes some kinda sense. Could possibly work with a lap top also. Still would need a way to mount the phone (guess you could hold it ).
