Let me just list a few reasons:
  • You cannot upload photos from the mobile portal of facebook.
  • You cannot view your photos in slide show with mobile portal
  • You cannot import friends' profile photos to use as photo caller-id with the mobile portal
  • You cannot check your inbox/wall/friendship requests automatically
I can list more, but I think the above should be enough. Yes, you CAN stay with the mobile portal, but why? - Snap2Face is FREE and works much better.

Please dont get the impression that Im being a jerk, but from what I seeing your program basicly is only focused on pictures. You do have access to the Wall/Poke..but then again the Facebook portal does as well. I do use Facebook Mobile alot and Ill give this a try tho I am having major doubts. We shall see if this is all its cracked up to be.

It's in our nature to doubt. I am not surprised by that.

Photo feature is a small part of what Snap2Face does.

iPhone/Blackberry/Palm all have web browsers and can access the Facebook mobile portal, too. Yet they each have a dedicated native client. Why? because it works better than the portal. Snap2Face does the same thing for WM users.

Snap 2 face Likes and Dislikes
Likes
1) It does give me as much access to Facebook as a computer does

Dislikes
1) I DONT like having to sync with my computer to be able to use it
2) I wish the .cab file would allow my full access without having to sync with outlook since I dont use outlook therefor have never established it untill the other day.

Weapondrift, I dont have to synch with my computer to use this... maybe because I'm still using a beta version.
