it's a long story... well, actually it's not :} there are various reasons;
1) many many moons ago i had a bbs, and since i was/am very blunt and straight to the point they started calling me rudeboy
2) i like ska - guys that are followers of ska are called rude boy's.
3) a Dutch cross-over band (Urban Dance Squad) singer is called rude boy

I suppose to continue this topic, I'll explain my Name. Up until I was about 30, any group of people that I assimilated to, I was always the youngest of the bunch. Army, College, Friends, gamers, Paintball, you name it. No reason why it happened, it just was a vast coincidence.

My Surname has always been getting confused with that great actor Gary Oldman.

Due to the above two facts (and a few other more obscure ones), everyone called me "Old Man". So much so, that I even had teachers in college that called me by that.

I'm part German.

When stepping online back in 1998, I combined the Nickname, with a Bad German translation of "The Old Man" and hence "Der Alta" was born. I even owned the website www.deralta.net for a while.

Continuing on, mine was a nickname I got in college. Everyone in the marching band said I looked like a former member they called Paco. Add my lucky number (I don't know why) and eureka! It stuck when I joined the Army since many people in my company also went to the same college I did.

i was given one of my names because it belonged to my mom's sister it is her middle name. She died from leukemia at 16.

I am sure my middle name has a story but I dont recall it right now.

Back in the work days the office called me the Doctor (long story) and my last name is Drew, which rhymes with Who, which rhymes with Q.

Thought it might have been pretentious when I joined Qusers since I didn't know sh*t so I kept my mouth shut for 4 months and Searched and Read.
