Update: I sent three emails to www.myotherdrive.com asked for a refund/return/credit back to my CC & to cancel my service with them and I didn't get any replies. Funny, when I had questions before I signed up they were "johnny on the spot". Looked everywhere I could think of and did different search's all a.m. & couldn't find any other way to contact anyone there but using their web based email app. So, this a.m. I called my CC company and told them what happened and what was going on & he said not to worry about it anymore. It will take about a month to get the charge refunded and "it will get refunded b/c we are good at what we do". So, wait a little bit and I will get my money back. It wasn't much but it's mine!!!
(I think I have held my cool thru this very well...but I really, really would like to cuss someone out!)

i think -unfortunately- we have all been there... i just canceled a hosting service for a company i do some web work for, they changed their phone # without any notification nor was it changed on their web site, then after 5 emails they emailed me a different # which was busy for 4 days straight, then after some emails again i got a different number which nobody answered.. i canceled payment via credit card company.. and low & behold, they started calling me :}

ps. that was d2d which also "owns" 4domains and some other weird little companies.

Just signed up with 1 & 1, beginner package (that's a big duh!). I've been too busy to do anything like this. So, this is going to be an adventure. But I will get it. Maybe I need a teacher. Dang, need a keeper, now I add a teacher to the mix! Will this ever end?
