Well, it looks like Hanna is determined to ruin my plans for this weekend. My plant is in hurricane mode. I guess I better stock up on water and batteries before the mad rush later in the week.

Sulster, have you forgiven my Tiger trash talking? I might need a place to stay.

LOL! you are welcome anytime. Fair warning, however, my in-laws are going to be in town this weekend!

THR, I had to evacuate Charleston during Hugo--I was in school there at the time... you?

If yall need to evacuate maybe we can meet up and have lunch. Im telling you if I have to evacuate the hotel its gonna SERIUSLY piss me off. just imagine between 20-42 rooms paying between 300 - 700$ a night and having to evacuate. (think Dawn of the Dead) *buys mace for the crowd control, and a gun*
I have a friend that is actually in charge of pulling the switch to evacuate the island and if the hurricane ever gets to a Category 3 we can kiss everyone on this island goodbye.

Weapon what are they expecting down your way? They have issued a voluntary evacuation for some counties. Hanna has weakened so I am not sure why but we'll see. It's hard to predict what these storms will do. I am more concerned about Ike then I am Hanna. Ike is looking for Anna Mae (Tina Turner). All she had to do was eat the damn cake!! lol

So far unfortunatly Hanna has weakened, the weather service and Glynn county (where I live) has said that they are not planning on evacuating.

So much for my early vacation.
