.tgz issue

let's not clutter the other thread any more :}

can anybody try again... i added .CAB (already had .cab), it might be case sensitive which is not strange in Linux (my host runs Linux servers)

so lemme know fella's/gals.

so i tried it on the Q and it comes through as a CAB file but on my PC it comes through as a .tgz file!

wtf... this gets weirder by the minute. so the Q recognizes it correctly but the pc does not, i have to try on one of my test pc's because on my laptop it comes through as a .cab.. (as also on my Q)

i tried it on a clean fresh XP install and it does say it's a .tgz, so it is client pc related as far as i can tell... if you know any other web sites that offer .cab files try downloading it and see what happens.

well when i download programs at say birdsoft or any other site cabs come in as cabs

okay... and to rule out something i suspect, try a download from http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps plz.
