I tried Slingbox today and......WOW! My work has a couple to monitor video, so i got the Slingbox ID stuff, downloaded the 30 day mobile software trial and now I'm hooked. Even PIP works! Gotta get my own now....

Oh yea!! Kudo's g-funk...

Rude- When I get my box I'll give ya it's credentials so you can check it out. If you haven't done so already. The software has a free trial. I'd do it now, but the one I'm using is a work one. Then you can compare it to Orb.

sweet.. yesterday i broke down & i went the el cheapo road for now and ordered a tv card that is supported by Orb, never the less i would like to compare..

What part of the Netherlands? I am dutch too & have family all over the place there. Don't speak but understand when I am hearing the conversation.

i am and most of my family that lives there are all in the south as in Noord Brabant (province) (close to the Belgian border). you were born in the US ?

Take the card back now and get Slingbox... I'm tellin' you, there's no comparison. I got Sling hooked up to my Tivo right now, as well as my folks TV back home. So, I can get local broadcasts from Wisconsin, plus all my DirecTV channels AND all recorded Tivo programs. Say I forget to set a recording timer, I can just log into Tivo via Sling and access the guide or Tivo menu.

Spend the extra money on Sling, and I "PROMISE" you'll never look back.
