RIP Charles "Che" Stills

You know I spend alot of time online and I have made some friends. Many of whom I will probably never see face to face but people I call friends nonetheless.

One of the friends that I have made lives in Cali and we met on Black Planet. We usually talk at least once a week just to check in with each other and talk about our individual weeks.

Well I hadn't heard from her yet this week so I was kinda worried about her. Turns out her brother was one of the 4 people killed in the plane crash that happened not even 80 miles from me. He was the security guard, Charles 'Che' Stills. He was 29 and left the world way too early!

Knowing the horrible feeling of getting a phone call telling me that I had lost someone I love, I can remember that pain vividly. Her and her family have been in my thoughts all day.

So in appreciation of our friendship and the other friendships that I have made, either here or on other sites. I say RIP in Charles. And just a reminder to live every day as if it's your last because we just never know.

Thanks guys! I haven't talked to her yet, I'm sure the family is busy with the business of laying him to rest. But it just shows you what a small world this is. I mean when I heard about the plane crash, my thoughts went out to those who were lost, not even thinking that I might actually know anyone involved.

Yes, him and DJ AM. Glad they are going to recover although I would think it will be a painful recovery.

Thanks guys, I still haven't actually talked to my gf but I am sure things are crazy for her and her family right now.

Just makes you appreciate waking up each morning and having another day to enjoy. Group hug to all my friends that I have made here. You make my life much more enjoyable. (((HUG)))!
