   |  Dutch queen has very little power.. and what's queens day, it was the birthday of the previous queen (Juliana).. then her daughter took over who has her birthday somewhere in january, but since the weather isn't that great in january they left it on may 30th.. it's another reason (like they need one) to drink excessively... and the only day in the year people are allowed to sell what ever crap they want on the streets (kinda like a gigantic yardsale - which is illegal the rest of the year unless you have a license for it..) wanna know more ? (probably not :} http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koninginnedag (just realized i almost quoted the first part of the article before i even read it... wow :} (pic taken w/ the Q, this morning @ 7:23am.)
