| Im sorry to hear about that TarHeelsRule!
So nice to be carrying a memorial of him. When you finish I hope you would not mind posting the tatoo.
(I had a boyfriend pass away too, my husband has met his family and what not even thought it was like over 25 years ago I still keep in touch with them I did not mention it before but that tattoo on my hand that has faded was for the one that passed away) |

So I got a tattoo of the Superman shield with the number 252 inside which are the numbers that correspond with his initials. Just something for us so that when others saw it they wouldn't understand the significance but we knew. Emotionally I haven't been able to get the angel wings, not ready for that step yet but when I do I will proudly post a picture.

| I had my tongue pierced twice. just waiting to do it again...hurt more as you go tho. I got my ex wifes name on me and she dumped me two days later. So name tats are not a good idea, unless children, parents or memorial..
speaking on a guy passing a stone...when I was in basic getting my poison ivy treated, they brought a guy in who was passing a stone....i have never, ever heard a scream that loud, it was freaky, i was in the bed next to his and i was like, wow i guess poison ivy isnt as bad as it can get

keep 'em coming. picture #1 & picture #2. | Yes I replied sort of I said my husbands praying hands have flesh! Interesting yours are...never seen them on a forearm before. Not like im a tattoo coniseure though.
Re: Piranah I would be hesitant to get a name my self unless as you stated child parent etc. I did not put a gun to his head though and he put my name on before we were "official". That is the problem with tattooing names like that you never know. But is that not part of the adventure of it? |

| Now that I am thinking about the impressive tatoos I have seen. I knew this guy (cousin to the passed away boyfriend) He had a back piece of Our Lady of Guadalupe it was huge. I wish I had a pic but I dont. Must have taken a long time to do it. Any how long story short he passed away as well from Diabetes 1. His mother decided to not have him buried in a catholic funeral when he passed because she was "born again".
Needless to say if someone has a tatoo of Our Lady of Guadalupe chances are they want a Catholic funeral. I had a medallion of St. Dismas that I used to wear and it happend to disappear off my necklace at the burial. I noticed it when we were walking down hill away from the burial site his brother told me "He must have wanted it" Which is kind of funny really because he was sort of a nemisis. As far as I am concerned he can keep it if it keeps him happy.
Wouldnt have anyway but I wont ever mess with someones last wishes.
(true story)

| Here is my new one, on my wrist. img132.jpg img134.jpg img135.jpg img136.jpg
Got it friday, so it still looks fake. I went tailgating the day after i got this and everybody said it looked fake. Even the chick that i ended up taking to dinner that inspected it for 20 minutes said it looked airbrushed on.

| wrist is not the most pleasant area, but it ain't that bad...
regarding names, i had my exes name on my finger... as you can see, i did break up and it took me 7 years to cover it up with a small tribal. now i have my current SO's name in binary as a band around my arm.
