| sumthang else.. okay... so last night i made a few system screens, so far so good.. one needed changing though but i did not save the background separately so now i am trying to get it the same color but no cigar... been messing with it for about 2 hours and that + the heat is getting to me :}
any one any ideas... it was a black image, i inverted and made it either grayscale or black&white, and possible adjusted the brightness a bit.. i can not believe it's just not getting the same color :]

| If you are working on a pix & save it as a psd file, shut down PS and reopen the pix the 'history" is gone. There are no "step backwards". I found that out the hard way, too.
Is this something you made? Something you can re-download? I have, but I think it's a d*mn miracle able to pick up the "history" from PS with PSP but that's not 100% |

| Do you have an "eyedropper" tool in PhotoShop? In my PSP I can click on any color and it replicates it. If you like, email me the picture with the color you want to duplicate and I can send you the RGB values or hex code.

| @ Cindra, thanks... after staring at the screens for an extended amount of time i started to doubt if they were or were not different, so i did what you suggest (even before you suggested it.. great minds :} anyway... i doubt myself now since most everywhere where i clicked the color/hex codes was the same in both images..
i used (and still use occasionally) Paint Shop Pro, and it's great.. also messed with Paint.NET since it's free, but most creators here on EQ use PS plus on occasion they give you the .psd from which you can learn... it's really a neat program.

LOL I did just upgrade my PSP, though; it looked like if I let it go any further I wouldn't be eligible for upgrade pricing. I did notice that animation shop didn't come with the new version, though, so I'm a bit torqued about that.

Only thing is you can't export pix to PSP. But I didn't use that function much anyway. They have a free trial to check out.
I don't think they will ever update animation shop. |
