so the bossman just calls me.. he's at a relatives home to which he wants me to go to tomorrow to look at a laptop, it goes to all "root" pages like www.ebay.com & www.yahoo.com but when he tries to go to a "underlaying" page like my.ebay.com it will give a page not found..
i went there (providers tech didn't show up yet & bossman knew i was getting busy later this morning :} tried on my laptop and i could go to all sites in question... so i rules out the modem and router, so i looked through some settings which all looked fine.. so i thought let's see if it's IE and i installed Firefox and wallah.. no issues. right after i did that the providers tech showed up, i explained what i did and he said "i would have done the same thing".
*still wonders what setting in IE it could have been...*
