just so all of my fellow everything q users know, i just started this job as a installation tech with a pissy hourly salery. i just got my emp # today and decided to take advantage of a good forum. i do get about 15 to 20 dollars for anyone who sets up a account with directv. i dont want my fellow q users to think this isnt on the up an up, because it is. the information i have above is directly typed word for word from a directv brochure! so call the number, take a look and if you like it, give them the promo number!

Jeff -- I have DirecTV with the NFL Sunday Ticket. When I've called to ask about getting the games in HD, they told me it would be another $99 for the Superfan. Is this true? I can't get the games in HD unless I pay more?

Yes its called super fan if you sign up you also can view games on your PC anywhere in the world (just like at home with Sunday ticket but streamed) with a high speed internet connection. You also get sunday ticket mobile which the Q supports according to their site and it should play highlights of the current games, scores, etc.

Holy crap that would be awesome to watch football on my phone.

Unfortunately I can't go with a Slingbox because my condo community uses a bunch of T-1s, and we get non-routable IPs. I have been considered going back to an HD setup since DirecTV is rolling out a bunch of new channels, and I'm already missing an HD signal, but I'd have to buy another receiver and a new multiswitch -- and I just had mine installed.

This is definitely going to push me over the fence though, I think. Too many times I won't leave the house on Sundays for ANYTHING because I want to keep watching football, lol.

As far as I know you can only see highlights on your phone not the actual games. But I am going to try this weekend anyway. The highlights are susposed to be about 15 mins delayed on your phone per the website. You can see the real time games on your PC.
