The game between DC United and the Colorado Rapids sold out at 18,000+ on a cold, blustery day. That at least shows that Denver fully supports MLS. There was a great upsurge in support and participation when the US hosted the World Cup. Then, there was a decline returning it to the realm of little kids.
What do you think? Will soccer survive in the US?

Ya, I got confused as well. Your title states "Is soccer dead in the US?" but you poll asks, "Will professional Soccer grow in the US?" Oh, well. I answered yes. To the thread title.
i played soccer up through high school. sadly, it'll have a tough time breaking into the top 4 spectator sports in the US: football, baseball, basketball and hockey (and hockey is struggling as it is). Throw in NASCAR and you have a VERY saturated market.

I'm sure that in time, 'futbol' will become the predominant sport in the Estados Unidos.
