 | When Chris was first talking about putting ads on the site I asked him if they were going to be in your face pop-ups? He said he didn't think that there would be. (I think or something to that effect anyway). Didn't you say Chris is on vacation? Perfect time to invade and take over his "domain" with obtrusive ads. It's very annoying & will drive ppl away to more user friendlier forums. Sad...

| I bought a pop up blocker a long time ago and just installed it on several PC's so it would block that (*^%%I&&*%% ad. Unethical or illegal it was driving me crazy. I don't sit with just one PC, I bounce around. See? I am now a harden criminal trying to get a little peace in my little part of the internet.

 | well, we did get the admin on "my" other forum to look into more user friendlier things (a mobile friendly site for example), and since it's owned by motorola there's no ads... but I think currently our user base is smaller than rb's post count... |

 | i'm with craig.. using Firefox and the ads stay in their designated area and do not block anything. docmac you realize you have now given the newbie's an excuse, they'll say "well i wanted to search but the link was blocked by an ad" :}
