| High School Reunions so aparently im getting old... my 10 year H.S. reunion is 10 weeks away . Its funny I didnt want to go when I found out about it originially, however a former boss told me to go ahead and go. Its funny, im nervous and single and trying to find out what to say to all of these people. I started getting in touch with a few over the last few weeks so its been a fun experience so far.
*shrugs* felt like blogging LOL

| Mine was a few years ago so I guess I'm old. It was as disorganized as the school was when I was still a student, got the call the week of the reunion saying hey were having one this friday at 6:00. I worked 8-5 and it was a 5 hour drive from me so I didn't go. |

| Ok. You all know I'm old...My husband is 3 years older than me. We went to his 20th high school reunion in 1999. (For those of you trying to do the math, he is currently 47 and I just turned 44).
We went with some friends of his that we still keep in touch with. (We live about 25 minutes from where he grew up...). For him, this was a great experience. Kids who were jerks in High School were still jerks, but later in life, that doesn't bother you so much!
Hubby was a "nerd" in high school, and so were his friends because they liked to study. One friend is now a prominent eye surgeon, living in a home valued at over 2.2 million. Other friend is an attorney, married with 2 kids, living in a well to do area of NJ. My hubby is an attorney, owns his own business, and is also living in one of the nicer/wealthier areas of Long Island.
The prom queen was fat and divorced! (Yeahhhh!) Prom king didn' t show up. We had fun because we were with friends, kids weren't there, and drinks were included!
Listen to the song "High School Never Ends" by Bowling For Soup.
And have fun a the reunion!!

Didn't go to mine, either. Just Hubby's. His 30th (YIKES!!!) will be next year.
Oh, and Tech....if you were walking into you reunion wit a 4 carat ring and Taye Diggs on your arm, would you feel differently about going then???LOL!

I have no desire to see those worthless excuses for human beings. They would just have to envy me when they read about me in People magazine, and my lavish 2 week vacation in Italy with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, LL Cool J, or Ed Westwick. It depends on what flavor of hot man I want those weeks; Chocolate, Vanilla, or Napoleon! LOL. |

| I have never gotten any notice of a high school reunion and I live in the same city and have for the past 30 yrs. Well, one day I ran into a old classmate and asked why we hadn't had a reunion and I was informed that we did but it was segregated. The whites decided to have their own. Gotta love the good old boy South! The more things change, the more they stay the same.
So needless to say if I got one today I wouldn't be attending!!
