What if it "accidentally" broke and when you went to replace it, they were "out" of them and all they had "in stock" was a nice, shiney, brand new Q?

Try. This. Check the "Tag" for the mp3 file. most times they are not filled in and your phone reads the tag. the songs may be there, bt you can see them.

The tags are ok on the WMP, because I originally had that problem with my Q. Where would I check on the EnV for this?

Good thinking but I'm not sure it's that. I have a song on my memory card that didn't have ID3 info and the phone just showed it by filename.

I just took a spare memory card I have and inserted it into my enV2 without the proper folder names and it does the same thing you are reporting... that option does nothing. I really think that might be the problem. My phone sees the card (just like you said). I just created a folder called MY_MUSIC on the card and it worked again. Good luck.

I will try this when I get home, if she will let me near her phone! Thanks again for all the help!

make sure all tags are filled in. put the song on your desktop and check the properties. also some phones don't play all formats of sound files. I would find a sound file that works on your phone and check the properties and see what format they are and what bit rate.

File is MP3. That was the first thing I checked. Tried 128kb and 64kb. Verizon keeps insisting it has to do with Digital Rights?!? Says I need USB cable. That just doesn't sound right to me. I will try re-formatting the card when I get home, and start this process again.
