Music or Audio Garage Band???

I was wondering if anyone of you brilliant people know of the program (only for Macs, apparently) called "Garage Band"? Bobby-n: I tried pm-ing you, but box was full.

It is a program that lets you mix music on the computer to get you own mixes??? Is there anything like this that is available or comparable for the PC?

There were some programs listed for professional use, but they were very expensive.

My daughter needs to work on a new dance for cheerleading, and the coach asked her for her help with the mixes, and we need help!

I appreciate any and all information you can give me!

not bad at all...
reminds me of my rig, (but smaller and a lot cheaper)

Ok, found it. here's one I was looking at (but never got around to buying) It's quite a bit cheaper than Reason (at only $99)
It should do most if not all (and more) of what you want.

it's called Auto Audio Mastering System

I am surprised no one has mentioned Sony Acid or Fruity loops. Both are drag and drop for the most part and I think Sony Acid is like 50 bucks if not cheaper. If she is just looking for a way to mix tracks to cheer to these would be easy and cheap. Both programs will also allow you to rip songs from CD's and remix part/or the whole song.
