| EQ Calendar... Totally off topic, but why is this member changing his/her birthday everyday? BRobinsonHVV has had a birthday everyday for a week. Am I the only one who checks the calendar? I always like getting birthday wishes on my birthday, so I try to do the same.
If a member here is active, I like to start a thread so we can all wish them "Happy Birthday". If the member isn't that active, I look to see how long ago they were here, and if it was recently, I send either a pm or leave a note on their user page.
Any ideas? I actually asked this person on their page, but of course I got no reply!
Just trying to "unconfuse" myself! Thanks for listening!

| wow... you are on the case, frankly i check the calendar close to never...
i do not now what this member's reasoning's are for changing it, he/she had one post ( http://www.everythingq.com/forum/gen...tml#post172174)
i am not very deep into the software used to run this site, but i would think the DOB should be something that can be entered ONCE during registration..

I'm guessing (remember, I have NO tech skills at all) that he is just going to the calendar page and adding it right there as a new event. (You're birthday isn't on there, RB!). Just "registering" doesn't automatically add the date to "our" calendar. When you register with this site, do you need to leave a date of birth? It has been so long ago, I don't remember. I do know that I can go into the calendar and add an event...
When I asked Chris to update the Calendar (it had only gone up to 2006), I asked that people "not" add erroneous/extra events. (I realize it may be Fluffy's birthday, but why clutter "our" calendar with it? HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FLUFFY!)
Oh, well! Thanks again, Chris, for updating it. Most people enjoy it (I think...).
Also, thanks for letting me vent!

Yup, it fills in the birthday every year, with the corrected age (if you put in the birth year!)
Soooo....I'm pathetic! I "googled" this members name, and he/she comes up as a member in many, many forums. When you click to see the profile, you get the same thing as here (birthday is always set to current day...)
Could this be a "robot" type thingy? By the way, rudeboy, it took a lot of self restraint on my part not to add your birthday this year! I have it set as an event that occurs anually on my phone/pc calendar, so I won't forget.....LOL!

| They are looking for hits to thier page...maybe they get paid for how many views they can get. Its early so my thought process could be off and making no sense at all. That said its time for me to go get coffee. |

I should go add my birthday...although I bet people won't be on here much that day.
