Prolab everytime I see your nick, i want a protien shake or a promax bar! http://www.prolab.com/
(They just happen to be a "local" company here" |
LOL, that's how i got my nick. I was a nutcase working out on my early 20's. Taking every little pill/supplements/etc i could. Then i started reading more and learned to back down. But, Prolab was the one that worked out for me very well throughout the years. Hence, the Prolab nick.
Yah, everyone has their own terms of a douche bag. Although, i certainly agree on most of the examples on that site. Hot chicks on the other hand? Ehh... just some.

Ehh... just some. | My 6 yr old lives on the promax honey peanut bars. They are a bit sweet for me, but I will induldge occasionally. I like pretty much strickly whey protein with out any added stuff. I love muscle milk/evopro. The prolab proteins are pretty good though...apple evopro in oatmeal yummy.
not all body builders are douche bags either! lol |

| Musclemilk ive tried and it doesnt taste powdery. I like myoplex as well (although dont use it too often).
One that i use nowadays is Iso XP. Seems to fair better on me than the prolab.
Yes, not all body building enthusiast are douches. Although i found interesting that some of the hardcore ones (in my gym anyways) keeps insisting on wearing those tight bicycle shorts .
Uhmmm....

| lol @ the bicycle shorts! .i remember this one guy had a passion for his black and white stripped ones and wore this matching purple "wife beater" with them OMG lol. he reminded me of a wild gypsie...all he needed was a wagon and a guitar.
When I worked for a gym we got to sample alot of stuff. Myoplex was one, pretty tastey. Havent tried the other mentioned. Since I down sized my employment from 3 jobs to 1 i havent had the opportunity to try much. There are these oatmeal bars made in Las Vegas that are in a girlie term "to die for". Ill see if I can link them when i get a chance.
I didnt get into training until I was in my 30's never realy got into anything supplement wise other than the whey proteins and bars. DHA, is something Ive liked in the past.
DAMN those friggin bike shorts are stuck in my head now thanx alot! lol |

3 jobs?! Damn! Actually, i was like that as well when i was younger. But i like having a life so, im stuck to one now. Although im thinking of getting another p/t job to earn extra money for tuition next year.
And, I Nominate guys wearing tacky (or just tight bicycle shorts in general) in the gym as a douche!

| lol the bicycle shorts at the gym guys. You being a man ill, share my pet peeve. Ok you know people look, its a given at a gym and really its not that big of a deal sometimes accept when the glacing becomes oggling. I could be up on my favorite cardio equipment "gauntlet" literally viewing about 90% of the gym...its a huge floor space. There would be at least one perv oggling some poor lady. There have been "intervensions" by boyfriends or husbands cuz it just goes too far. I can usually either zone it out, great with a bluetooth head phone and loud music or give the evil eye if that doesnt work in some cases actually confront them.
All i can say is to those guys is learn how to look respectfully. i nominate them as douche lol
One more thing (for now)...groups of people (usually men) or individuals hogging equipment and not doing anything but talking in the group or someone doing a circut thinking they own the equipment from one end of the gym to the other. That is douchey very douchey lol. They in the group dont want to be interupted in their chatter,I will do it any way, and the individual doesnt want anyone working in...I will do that any way too. lol
I used to work at the same gym at the front desk (job 2) the only time I had issues that came close to blows were with a guy that wanted SERVICE while I was not on duty. That was nasty there was an intervention then actually more than one, he is really a wee man and had a complex about it. He liked to intimidate people especially women. And I wasnt the first staff to have to deal with this. The Manager was a douche he was scared of this guy, thought like the whole little people community was going to come down on him if he talked to this guy and put him in check.. Dude was scared, big time. Then there was a lady who thought her toothless grin was a golden ticket to something. We had issues, well she did, she wouldnt get off my leg. I was 7 months pregnant still lifting at that point and she liked to antagonize me while I was on duty. She was a douche too, oh the stories behind that one! but this post is too long already.
