| digital frame so i got one for fathers day... and have it here at the office, out of the blue a couple of weeks ago it started acting up, it will work all the time but the screen is so dark you can't see a darn thing, sometimes it will work 100%.. then a couple of hours (sometimes even shorter) it dims again. pretty crappy...
well, we don't have the receipt anymore (even though my SO has receipts all through the house.. :}
it's a Digital Labs, model: K101 (manufactured in january 2007 it says on the back)..
anyone have any idea what this could be ? TIA.

Craig | it goes straight to the power (110-115v) outlet... and just tried a few other outlets, unfortunately.
thanks though!

| *update* ok boys & girls,
we have a company leasing space that repairs lcd and flatscreen tv's so i asked him to look at it, after about 5 minutes he came back said it was fixed... plugged it in, no go.... went to a different outlet, nope... went a few outlets away from my office and bingo :}
the adapter really needs 120 in to get 9v out.. and with this building being +40 years old, and a lot of equipment in my, my boss and another dudes office.. that makes it drain. other equipment in my office all range from 100v to 220v so even if the power in goes down a bit it will still work. (we're blowing breakers left and right here if we all turn on our heaters :}
anyway... i put the frame on a UPS in my office and she works great, speaking of overkill :}
ok, just letting you know :}
