AT&T Job Help Does any one here work for AT&T that would be willing to give me a little insight about what their Retail sales consultant positions are like? I interviewed today and I think it went very well. I know I can be successful in this industry because I have great people skills and know a lot about the technology. My two biggest concerns that my interviewer didn’t cover very well was the salary expectations and how the commission works. What type of salary could I expect if I were hired? I have a bachelor’s degree in business and I live in a medium sized metropolitan area with about 130,000 people and it has about 4 AT&T stores. I also have about 15 months of customer service experience. Also could someone elaborate on how the commission works. Do I make money just for new lines of service? Or for new features? Or based on total sale amount? How much can a first year sales consultant make in commission? Also what is the atmosphere like? Do the employees fight over customers or is it more friendly? If any current or former employees of AT&T would like to inform me about what I may be getting into, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. |
