Default oops....

forgot to say i fixed this morning using the repair function you can shift-f10 which makes you jump to a somewhat graphical dos prompt, from there you can start the user manager and change and/or reset the password.

the rest of the day (& still) i am messing with ACT!... what a crappy excuse for software that is (unless i am an idiot and it's too hard) but after unjoining the domain there is no way it will restore a database... made direct backup's from the server but all to no avail.

their support was only for 30 days which is long past... and incidental supports costs 50 bucks for the first 10 minutes, after that 5 dollars per minute....

uhm... it's C:\ (and only if you use the boring prompt: $p$g) and uhm, well you could have done "dir filename.ext /s"

that aside... my first pc was an Olivetti with two 5¼ floppy drives (dos came on 2 floppies so for external dos commands you had 50% change you needed to swap disks.. for other apps there was also swapping required, good times.
