I had big cravings for cheeseburgers. There was a restaurant on the corner, and my hubby at that time used to climb through snowdrifts to bring me cheeseburgers. I ALMOST feel guilty about sending him out for those. |
My first was 23 years ago. When ultrasounds were grey fuzzy blobs. I still have that image in my head though watching the black and white baby swimming around. They did not even have the auditory devices that they have now. The Doc looked like a marcian when listening to the baby's heart beat.
I was working then and spent alot of time traveling from Oakland to Walnut Creek to my job. (Pet Peeve please let the pregnant lady sit down on the bus) Every night when I would get home round round 9 or so I would stop and baskin robbins and get a choclolate fudge brownie scoop with a sugar cone. That was #1
#2 I remember eating tomato soup, I have recently began another round of that only now its Trader Joe's tomato soup sans the milk and butter. It is just as good.
#3 Not so long ago only 6 years. By then I was commuting to work, but at least I was driving so I did not have to worry about the back ache of standing on public transportation for hours at a time. Working near full time and working out near full time. I did not stop either until the 8th month when my OB was concerned I might push the baby out on a leg press. (this is the ob that did an exam on halloween in an red m&m suit and of course his nurse was in the green one try keeping a straight face that position with two m&m's checkin out the goods) My diet was the best, It stayed "clean" with the acception of adding more fruit and obviously more caloric intake. I still didnt over indulge. Scales didnt figure that out though. My indulgence was splitting a regular Jamba Juice (they did not have the small then) and sometimes a decaf from peets or starbucks.
I have a habit of TMI dont i lol
If you do the math my kids are born decades and millinea apart. Its kind of fun that way.
