Wrong time on my clock - Motorola Q Forum

I have a serious problem, my phone motoq is displaying the wrong time, it's always one hour earlier. When i sync it with my pc it's going back to normal time, but when it's disconected in a few minutes it's getting one hours earlier, again,

it's driving me Fing crazy, does anyone have a solution for me?

what time zone are you in and eaxctly what time zone is programmed on your q? are you in the CST?

in my pc it's -6 central time (usa and canada)
on my phone it's -6 central time (usa and canada)

Change it to GMT -6 Central US.. instead of Cent. America.

It sounds like maybe your phone isn't processing daylight savings time. Since we "spring ahead", that would explain your phone being an hour behind.

Did you download the DST update?

I had to download a patch to my phone for the new DST date this year.

Just a thought.....

We're in the "normal" DST cycle now though, so that wouldn't be relivant.

check your phone again...there is no such option as "-6 central time" you probably have it set to -6 central america....if you ask for help give us the courtesy of at least accurately reporting your problems...thanks!

Ok sorry the thing is because my phone is in french

sorry for the trouble..

it is GMT-6 Central US on my pĥone
on my pc it's GMT -6 Central time (us and canada)

i live in canada quebec ...

and nothin seems to work..

well that is probably your problem...are you sure you should be using central us as your time zone? try swithcing it..you should probably be in est

it worked, -5GMT eastern US BUT all of my apointements moves 1 hour later, but in my pc they stayed the right place....

so i changed the settings to the same thing in the pc too.... all apointements moved also now ehat lol
