What do you want everyone to send you? A list of all the software that they use?

There is a search feature called google, yahoo, etc.

I could start hyperlinking everyone, but it will take time.

say the word and i unlock it... and do "housekeeping" once in a while to clear the chatter (which i can promise you will be there once the thread is opened)

regarding the "handholding"... have you seen some newbee's here (and on other forums also) ? :}

Okay, I finally got the wiki page together. It took longer than I thought it would. (Mostly because my father-in-law has climbed a ham tower in protest.) Anyway, the page is up at: http://wiki.everythingq.com/page/Favorite+Applications

Some notes:
I tried to sort the programs into categories. Not sure how good a job I did. They may need to be rethought.

The download links may be a little inconsistent—some link directly to the file, others to a web page, but I think everyone can figure it out

If anyone wants to add a new item, there’s a blank template at the bottom of the page you can copy and paste.

I don’t have the new items Tony Bag O Donuts added to his thread the other day yet.
