Window Mobile 6 upgrade???

does anyone know if there will ever be an upgrade for windows moble 5 to mobile 6? or am i going to have to wait a year to upgrade my phone again?

i used to have a pocketpc, and the one application i really miss is syncronizing my outlook notes, and reading and modifying word documents.

i use a freeware wordpad editor but it sucks. we already pay so much for our phones and services, you'd think we could at least pay for an upgrade for the OS.

am i preaching to the choir here?

Today I went over to my local Verizon store just to check out the Q9m. I matriculated through the phone for about 15 - 20mins. straight. (I could tell the CSR was getting pissed that I kept saying "Oh I'm fine just looking around " )

After actually having it in my hand and playing with it... I realized that I was not that impressed with the phone. This phone really just seems like a prettier version of the original Q. and WM6 is very OVERRATED. Its really not much different from WM5. (Which is fine, because I love WM5, but the way everybody was talking about WM6 I thought it was just the best thing to happen for WM.) I hope the Q9C will be a better phone because right now I'm not impressed with the Q9m. It felt like a toy in my hands. Alot of the other phones I tested out had a better feel, like the 8830 and the Treo wmx. With the Q9m, I don't get the goosebumps that I got the first time I held the original Motorola Q. The worst part is I thought WM6 would be the thing that would make me want this device, but I was wrong.

My wife is hinting for an iphone for Christmas so unless something changes, I'll probably be moving both of us over to AT&T if I don't see something better by the 1st of Dec. But hey, If I make that move, then I can have the Q9h and all will be right in the world.
