Default Why Won't MY Phone Hang Up?

This Has to be a glitch. When I hit the end button attempting to hang up from a call, the phone stays connected for up to 5 or 6 seconds.

Please help, i was in a sprint store and a guy told me to check with this forum, he said there may be a Quick fix.

What can i do?

I love the fact that the guys who sell the phone need you to come here for support! Do you have any 3rd party software thats attaches to the keys like QCaps? Does it actually stay connected or does the screen just stay displayed? Is this happening over BT or on the handset directly?

Default Such a quick response, thank you

It stays very much connected directly on the phone, no BT. I dont know much about 3rd party software, but the guy said there was a way to download something that would speed the phone up as well.

Not sure what Qcaps are..

My Main concern is why the phone wont disconnect.

Thank you so much for you help!

Here is typical Microsoft answer. Try a Master reset and see if goes back to operating the way it should. It may just be something a bit out of sync. Make sure you have synced before you do that so you don't lose your data. Here is a link to someone who also had your issue and reset the phone and it worked:

I don't work for sprint. I was in the sprint store looking for goodies for my new Q. They really didn't have anything. I saw this guy and told him about this website. Also someone help him with the motoq hack program and the speed hack. I just got mine done and it so so much better.

I had this problem and also the problem where you would get an incoming call, hit the answer key and nothing would happen. Then of course you would miss the call, try and call back and the phone wouldn't make the call.

There is a software update for the Q that is on Motorolas page, takes about 30 minutes to install but it seems to have cleared these issues up.

Ive had a similiar problem. I would attempt to call someone but I would never get connected. So Id hit the hang up button(red) and it wouldnt hang up. I can go to the home screen but the phone will still attempt to dial.

I end up rebooting the phone. When the screen loads I end up loosing a bar of my battery life.
