 |  Why 1X lately... i've been in Ev (EVDO) mode at work for the past month and a half. but lately it's been going into 1X the last couple days and super slow. what is 1x and why is it so slow. i have to reboot the device to get it back in Ev mode. also noticed it tried to roam twice today. i know there's probably threads explaining what 1X is but i tried a search and apparently the X throws off the search engine. |

| why did u need a new phone???? i always get EV around my area, but when i try to connect to the EV network i get an unable to place call error message, and after 2 or 3 tries it just uses the 1x network to connect. i am calling sprint tech support tomorrow see what the problem is. |
