Default Which is better Wireless sync or Direct from the exchange server

I have my phone configured for both, but I like the quick push of wireless sync. The problem is of course having to leave my work PC on all the time for email. There has been occasions where my PC has gotten shut off and I can't get my email. This is always a concern of mine while on the road and depending on my email. It seems using the exchange server directly would solve this problem. I'm a new Q owner, so I'm a newbe at all this pda stuff. Any suggestions? One other thing, I received an email from a fellow employee on his TREO and I noticed a little tag on the bottom similar to Blackberry where it said "Sent from a TREO 650 on MS Server 2003" is this unique to TREO? My Q doesn't do that.

Connecting directly to the exchange server is much more reliable. If you have the capability to do that, why don't you?

As far as the signature, you need to set that up on the Q.

messages - outlook email - menu - options - signatures
