Default When you delete a file

is it gone for good or does it go to a recycle bin or something like that?

from experience, delete a file with the default File Manager, file is gone.. use Resco file manager, it will create a .trash directory (or something named like that) and files can be deleted into there.

'fess up, what did you delete :}

Folder...that's what I said :hahahahaha: Double-check of Resco shows it is ~Recycled (with a d) but only shows up if I look at it with Total Commander. Gee...all three of those apps work great; guess it's which you like to use.

Question--part one: don't touch with a ten foot pole :ha-ha:
Question--part two: You mentioned one (File Manager) and I mentioned two (Resco and Total Commander).

I hate to do this (heh-heh) but 1+2=3. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Sorry, my friend...but it's been a long, hard week and I bet there's 202 other people @ EQ thinking the same thing. BTW, I've got all three installed; use them for different reasons.

whahahahahahhaha.... you are a funny dude and on top of that, you were correct, so allow me to borrow your "it's been a long week" excuse, may i :}

and a bit serious.. what advantage does Total Commander have you think, or what can it do that Resco can't ? just wondering (i don't wanna miss out :}

Don't know if it's just me or the way Total Commander is set up, but it "sees" more of what there is...files, for example. Not file extensions and hidden files but files like the ~recycled that I mentioned earlier. It (TC) has an FTP agent in it as well as a registry editor and a "pack with zip" feature.

You can also create shortcuts and beam via infrared, neither of which I've tried (or would likely use) but handy to have. :Shrugs Shoulders: I don't know why I like them both...just do, I rekon.
