Default Weird Voicemail Button Problem

I have had this problem twice now, and seems to fix itself with a reset. My Q does not respond to button process during a call, so when I am checking my email, I am unable to skip prompts or delete msgs. The keyboard lights up so I am assuming the buttons are fine, but nothing registers in the call. Has anyone had this problem before?

I have found that you need to be on the call in progress screen in order to have the numbers register.

while you in a call you can just hit the home button and you will be taken back to the homescreen...then your contacts button will say call status and hit the softkey and you will be prompted back to that call status screen....
i dont believe you can check email and surf the net while on a call...you can however look up contacts and what not...as long as you are on speaker phone....

You can actually go to any other screen or ap on the phone while in a call. You cannot start an internet connection (PIE or download email) but you can go to things like contacts, read your email, calander, game, etc. The screen should show you connected to a contact with the timer if you have not navigated to another screen. If it doesn't go to the home screen and you will see call in progress, click it and it will take to you that screen. If you are on a call and there is no call in progress then you have a bug that has been discussed on here somewhere else.

I am in the call in progress screen when I'm having the problem. When I'm in a call, none of the buttons on my keypad will respond at all. I'm starting to wonder if this is a problem with my phone.

Go to settings -- Phone Settings -- DTMF . . . switch settings and give it a try.
