Weird email/text msg problem

I hope someone knows how to fix this.

Problem:
When I select new message on either of my email accounts, or my txt msg i get a blank white screen (instead of the normal to: subject: etc) with the menu buttons at the bottom. Its as if the template for the screen is missing. Also if I click on menu > add recipient it does nothing. also if I hit send, it does nothing.

Leading up to problem:
After upgrading the OS a few weeks ago, this morning I finally decided I needed to set up my gmail account again. I set it up, and it downloaded my most recient emails like normal. I then sent a email with picture attachments and that went fine. After that I took a short video to see if I would be able to attach that and send it. After I hit stop on the video, it froze on me. Would't even turn off when I held the power button. I finally had to remove the battery to get it to turn off. When the phone came back on, it didn't save the video, and my email start having the problem above.

I thought maybe if I just delete the gmail account and recreate it, it would come back. I tried that and no luck. I then checked the outlook account, and it would do the same thing. I checked the Txt msg and same thing. The only one that seems to work is the MMS. Anyone ever experience this or know how to fix it? I don't want to have to flash the phone again.

UPDATE: Now when I receive messages, I get the same blank white screen and can't read the text. Please help.

This just might be a fluke shot in the dark, but try changing your homescreen.

Nope, didn't help. I changed the homescreen a couple of time but results are the same.

As a last resort I'd recommend backing up all data and then performing a Master Reset
