Way to "Master Reset" phone without booting it

I wish there was some way to master reset the Q without having to do it through the software.

Reason being: last night my phone reset itsself and tried to boot back into windows. The Verizon Wireless logo comes up with the phone but it will not boot fully into windows. It stops at a certain point and eventually starts blinking colors on the screen.

Is there any way to do any type of a reset on this phone without having to go into the OS to do so?

Couldnt have crashed on me at a better time. The night before a 4 day holiday weekend!!!!

If you have the new firmware, hold the action key down while turning it on. It should give you a master reset prompt.

Thank you for that. Tried to do a master reset the way above listed and nothing. This phone is completely jacked. Took it back on Thursday and Verizon exchanged it for a refurb one that works worse than this one. At least it will boot.
