Default Voice Mail Indicator on Home Screen????

Can someone tell me why my voice mail indicator is always on "1" when I have new voice mails? It doesn't matter if I have 1 or 10, it will only display the number 1. It does switch back to 0 when I listen to them, but no matter how many new messages I have, it only displays 1.

I have tried many different home screens and I now use facade and nothing seems to solve this problem. Anyone?

I have Qblack and can't get my voicemail indicator to tell me when I have any voice mails. it always reads 0. the text (SMS) works fine, although I don't do much texting it does work. I have checked the setting on the verizon home screen to tell me when I get new voicemails, but it simply does not work.

I have had the phone for about 30 days and use facad.

any thoughts??

Default Any luck with this issue?

Have you found a workaround for this issue? I am having the same problem, I can have 500 messages on my voicemail and the Q homescreen will only show "Voicemail: 1" !!! I read somewhere that it may be an issue with the Sprint network and not necessarily the Q...

do a search here on EQ.. it could also be the plugin code used in the home screen .xml.

Thanks for your help. I searched everywhere but can't seem to find a resolution. Will look into the plugin code some more and see what I find.

<format state="unselected" bgcolor="transparent" fgcolor="#000000" font-weight="bold"/>
</background>
<label font-weight="bold" halign="center" w="320" font-size="18" padding-right="0">

Default voice mail indicator

Ok- I got the VM indicator fixed. It was a software bug on Verizon's end. I took it back to the store and the tech told me it was a wide spread problem ( verizon / NJ) He gave me some special number to call tech support for Verizon. The girl was helpfull and preformed a few tests, then later sent me a text to call Motorola, it appreared although the phone was less than 1 week old I did not have the current software. Motorola gave me a paaword and website to load the newer version. Turned out that I had the most recent version. Verizon tech support called to see if it was fixed, which I tld them it wasn't, they elevated the call and within 20 minutes I had the VM waiting counter working on my home screen and the indicator at the top of the screen appear.

problem solved.
