Viewing embedded pic in e-mail - Motorola Q Forum

I've searched around so I apologized if this is a repeat, but I recieved a e-mail from a friend sent to my Q and it basically had a jpg embedded into the email (to make sure we are on the same page, its an e-mail you recieve that the jpg is not an attachment, its part of the e-mail). I got a error that was unable to display the attachment. I could read the e-mail, but where the jpg was there was nothing. Any help on this...

i believe you need html enabled mail for that which is not supported in WM5.0..

Well that's suck 2. This and can't send pictures with text messages. Speaking of text messages and pictures I'm with Alltel and reading one of the post there was given a list of carriers where you type the number of the person you are sending the picture to and email address based on that persons carrier ex: 0123456789@vtext.com for a person on Verizon @message.alltel.com for person on Alltel, and they would get the message and picture. What kind of phone do they need? What kind of setup? Most have the razor or a LG (not sure of model), typical cell phone.

well... hey, i am on Verizon and i can sent embedded pictures in the form of a MMS, the fact that no other carriers support that on the Q is not the Q and/or Microsoft's fault. attaching a picture to an email is the best alternative..

Alltel doesn't have MMS I think. I need to get with them to see if they have plans to add MMS.

i know they don't.. i was just sayin' because some tend to blame MS or the Q.
