 |  Can someone answer this for me? I dont have any type of Data plan for my phone, to be honest with you, I have the feature blocked, so I can receive any MMS msgs. But when I connect my Q to my Laptop, I get Internet browsing on my Q. Am I being charged for that? It doesnt work if im not connected to my laptop. On Verizon Wireless.   |  No -- when you use ActiveSync, all networking requests are NAT'd by your computer. That way if you have a centrally-located PC with a good bluetooth transceiver, you could have your Q constantly connected to the internet in your house (as long as it's active sync'd). I haven't tested this (might do it if it wasn't too late to call someone), but you should be able to browse the internet this way while you're in a call as well. |
