hello out there!! obviously im new to the forums, and from what ive read so far this is a great one to have stumbled across.
right to the point- my wireless sync icon dissapeared off of my Q!! im not sure why, the last thing i did was uninstall agile messenger (couldnt get it to connect) using active sync...
so now my gmail wont be delivered!! how do i get the icon back? its not under start, or on the quick launch bar.
Do you know if Wireless Sync got removed or is the icon just gone? If it was removed, you can always re-install by going to http://ota.wsync.com from your device's browser.
Like scottjb asked. Do you know if Wireless Sync got removed or is the icon just gone? You can verify this by going into Filemanger, then go to \Program Files. If you see a SyncClient folder then Wireless sync may still be installed. So, open the SyncClient folder and launch ClientShell.exe if it exists. This should open up Wireless SyncClient. If you are missing the SyncClient dir or ClientShell.exe, then as scottjb stated you should download and re-install.

Reason: typo#2 (I failed English)
i got antsy and just did a master reset... then i had to re-establish my Q with activesync, but i seem to be back on track here. i have a bad feeling when i do an activesync im gonna get some double entries synced...
Ok, are you using MS Active Sync or Verizon's WirelessSync for corp e-mail? What type of server are you using for what type of e-mail? If multiple servers, which does what?
You can use MS Active Synce via your USB cable (without creating duplicates) and use Verizon's WirelessSynce for e-mail (any type); which is what I do for my corp e-mail (we use Exchange 5.5).
We need to know are you using a Microsoft Exchange server for mail? If so, is it Exchange 2003? To my knowledge MS Active Sync only works with Exchange 2003, so if you are using anything prior to Exchange 2003 you should use Verizons WirelessSync for your corp e-mail. Let us know if you are trying to access corp mail, pop, or imapi mail? If corp, what version of Exchange.
