Turn off phone radios & BT, leave on GPS?

Hi,
Is there any way to turn off the phone function and bluetooth, while leaving the internal GPS turned on? I want to use GPS in an airplane (using GPS software and maps installed on my phone). If I use the phone menus to disable phone, then it turns off the GPS. I think it is funny that bluetooth transceiver can be left turned on, while GPS receiver cannot if the phone is off (flight mode).
