TCPMP settings for Streaming Flash

Tried running a search, and it seems that any thread related to the flash bundle for streaming video is long and more associated to getting it to work, and I wanted to strictly discuss what settings people have noticed to be the most efficient.

Currently the changes I have read on some other forums non-Q-specific lead me to the following changes:

normal buffer size:2000(250 but was given an error it was to low to play)
preload underrun: 15% (was 3%)
manual A/V offset +/- -250.

These seemed to be working fairly well last night at my house where I get bad reception, but on the way to work this AM with good reception I am still getting the video freezing while the audio is playing in the background.

I am looking for the best settings that will allow for a prebuffer since I live in a bad reception area, and to stop the frozen video while the audio runs.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a discussion of these settings for the Q, or have any suggestions?

(I have also tried raw buffering and directdraw with no noticable changes.

I second this question. I have found many settings searching around but it seems that the more I change settings the worse the playback gets. I am running the threshhold hack also and still don't get acceptable playback on youtube.

thats odd that youtube doesnt work good for you. I get the best streaming results from there. How is you free space on your Q? do you use a sd card?

My trouble is with some other sites I have tried to use, the sound works but the video will not play. I wonder if it has to do with the quality of the video stream, however I get bad results sometimes with video I save to my SD card. My work PC only lets me watch about 10% of videos I get sent in emails, and usually just has pink and blue blurs instead of a clear video pictrure, so I transfer them to my phone to watch.

You tube is great for catching old cartoons for my kids to watch if we are waiting for a table when we go out to eat. Friday I had a group huddled around my phone watching bugs bunny while waiting in the vestibule.

I run at about 14% free memory with ie and tcpmp open with a video on. I do use a sd card both phone storage and 2g sd are half full. The problem I am having is that the video sound starts without the picture and it takes about 5 seconds for the picture to change and catch up. It seems that the fastest I can ever benchmark a video is 80% speed. Maybe my flash bundle is outdated?¿

i just doubled the buffer.
