COLOR_ALERTTITLE just sets the top text in the alert dialogs (not the title bar text, the large text at the top of the dialog).

I tried the following with no success:

Code: <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOWTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_ALERTTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_ALERT" value="#FF0000"/>

<color name="COLOR_STATICTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_WINDOWTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_STARTMENUTEXT" value="#FF0000" />
<color name="COLOR_GRAYTEXT" value="#00FF00"/>
<color name="COLOR_MENUTEXT" value="#0000FF"/>
<color name="COLOR_BTNTEXT" value="#FFFF00"/>

It's possible that it can't be set; the applications may paint it themselves. However, given that part of the dialog respects COLOR_ALERTTITLE, that would seem odd.

It's also possible that you need a registry hack in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color, similar to getting black softkeys.

Im going off of the "Earpiece Volume" screen (easiest to check quickly) and I found that this: <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOW" value="#FF0000"/> changes the color of the background of the bar...still searching..ok...here we go...this:<color name="COLOR_ALERTTITLE" value="#003300"/> changes the color of the TEXT IN THE TOP OF THE WINDOW...ie Info, Earpiece Volume, etc...the text below can not be changed..i have not found anyway to get the bottom text to change...hope this helps and sorry for the bad news
