COLOR_ALERTTITLE just sets the top text in the alert dialogs (not the title bar text, the large text at the top of the dialog).
I tried the following with no success: Code: <color name="COLOR_ALERTWINDOWTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_ALERTTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_ALERT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_STATICTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_WINDOWTEXT" value="#FF0000"/>
<color name="COLOR_STARTMENUTEXT" value="#FF0000" />
<color name="COLOR_GRAYTEXT" value="#00FF00"/>
<color name="COLOR_MENUTEXT" value="#0000FF"/>
<color name="COLOR_BTNTEXT" value="#FFFF00"/>
It's possible that it can't be set; the applications may paint it themselves. However, given that part of the dialog respects COLOR_ALERTTITLE, that would seem odd.
It's also possible that you need a registry hack in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color, similar to getting black softkeys.
