I would think it would delete the contacts in Outlook . . .

See, then if I were to delete all of my contacts (master reset) on my Q what good would it do to have contacts saved in Outlook if next time I synced it would then remove all of them from Outlook?

I wondered about that myself after I replied. Isn't there a setting in Active Sync to address this?
