So..I am about to start a new job and will need to add new numbers to my Q and delete old contacts. I have noticed that if Outlook has the contact and the Q doesn't, AS will add them to the Q, and vice versa.
Does this mean I will need to delete the contacts from both the Q and Outlook before synching?...since it looks like the missing contacts would be replaced by one program or the other during a sync...or is there a way to do it on just one side?
Well, I need to look into my activesync settings or something, my phone has 32 contacts on it and my computer only has 14. So it's not syncing all the info.
I'n activesync options in my phone, only Cale dar, Email and Tasls are checked, and I can't check Contacts, Appointments etc.
OK-I got "contacts" checked by going into activesync on my computer in tools, options (phone must be connected) and re synced. All contacts were duplicated on phone and computer. So now they're both the same.
Some contacts with same name but different info (a few contacts I had email/home phone number/mobile number on phone, and email only on 'puter) it made two seperate contacts on both phone and 'puter.
I took one of the duplicates and deleted the email only one on my Q-re synced, and it got deleted from my 'puter.
Then I took another one and deleted it off my 'puter, re synced, and it dissapeared from the phone as well.
So it would seen the answer would be-deleting contacts from one, then syncing, deletes it from the other.
