Default sync email with contacts and calendar?

I set up my Q to sync my contacts, calendar and email. I do not have a data package from Verizon. Does this count towards data usage?
Thanks in advance

If you are syncing wirelessly, yes it counts towards data usage. Technically, you do have a data package. If you didn't select the limited or unlimited plan, you have the pay-as-you-go plan.

I am not syncing wirelessly. I am just syncing with the emails that are already on my laptop. I am not sending or receiving emails with the Q. I just want to make sure this does not count towards data usage.

ActiveSync does NOT count toward data usage.

I am not familiar with zyb. Is there any way to export the contacts from there to a file (like csv, pst etc.)? Cause then you could import the file into Outlook, then sync it to your Q.

Have you tried contacting zyb? They would be the folks to ask.

Perhaps they can email you a list of your contacts/calendar in a csv or Outlook-compatible format so that you can import them.
