Default Stowaway Bluetooth Universal Keyboard..

The subject line says it all.. This keyboard is supposed to work with the Q with the new drivers.. Has ANYONE gotten it to work and is so, how?

Thanks,

B

I just bought one, and it works, albeit poorly.

First of all, you can only connect through their driver - its not HID compliant.

Also, keyboard presses are not registered as keypad presses, so while typing, the screen will turn off on you. Interestingly, using the shortcut for right or left softkey, will turn the screen back on...

Folding the keyboard is not smooth, and the thing is borderline small enough to fit in your pocket.

As I primarily want to use this for email, the fact that the number line is missing (especially the @ symbol and parentheses) makes it quite annoying to do work. Numbers and symbols are accessed through the fn key. That means you need to relearn how to type certain things, including: all numbers, @ ()!%* to name just a few. And placement of the slash used for hyperlinks / is annoying as well.

I think I'm gonna trade this for a Real keyboard.
