Question Still having problems viewing maps

Greetings all!

After many great suggestions from you all, regarding viewing Google, Yahoo maps on the Q, I am still stuck at square one! I have even loaded Map4PDA and it tells me that I need a newer version of Microsoft.net compact framework than the version installed on my device. My phone seems to have the latest software version 5.1.195

Can any of you look up an address on your Q? If so, please help a fellow Q user out and tell me how.

Thanks in advance!
Bald Bill

That version number is for the operating system and has nothing to do with the .NET Compact Framework. You need to download the .NET CF and install it.

However, if you do have the MOL2 system software ("the latest"), Map4PDA won't work properly due to a conflict between the iTap DLL and the Web browser part of .NET CF.

In that case, you might want to try Windows Live Search, which doesn't require the .NET CF download. There's also a Windows Live Search thread here if you have any questions.
