Sprite Backup Trial Version and Sprite Explorer out Now! - Motorola Q Forum

Hey all, just thought I would let you know that Sprite Backup (all versions) now have a trial version! Head over to www.spritesoftware.com and download it if you haven't already purchased it and need something to back up your mobile device - it's certainly worth at least a quick test ride!

Also check out Sprite Explorer, which is a PC based tool that allows you to browse your Sprite images, and extract individual files or folders to your PC or directly to a device. Check the link below:

You just need to enter your name and email to register then you will receive the software

I actually bought Sprite Backup, but I think I'm using it incorrecty. I was hoping it would backup my contacts, so I would not have to renter them when I need to do a master reset.

wow thats great i will definately be tryin those out.
shaun...if your contacts are synced in outlook if you do a master reset they will lod back on when you sync again

Wen you say "contact" do you mean Outlook Email contacts only? The contacts I am talking about are all the ones in my "phonebook" (so to speak).

if you save a number or a email address in your "contacts" it syncs with outlook...take a look at it to make sure they are all there...they should be

We would need more info than that. Have you made any ROM upgrades? what device do you have? Its best to log a job with their tech support for these kinds of issues as in most cases its a user error

I dont have outlook synced, since my phone is connected to my computer at work. I didnt want it to pull down all of the contacts in my company listing. I know when I synced my outloolk (work) with my i930, it pull the entire directory.
